SoBe Tan Academy is dedicated to teaching our students the craft of performing an impeccable spray tan on their clients. The academy emphasizes not only the application itself but also the ways you can make your business succeed. We'll give you a detailed set of sales and marketing tools, resources, and strategies to help you reach your goal of owning a profitable spray tan business quickly, easily, and — best of all — with little investment.

Our mission is to train students to perform a flawless spray tan and to raise awareness about the dangers of UV tanning. With a healthy spray tan, your clients can achieve a golden tone that makes the body look slimmer and diminishes the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. Spray tans are the best body makeup there is — and they last an entire week!

We offer three-hour, one-on-one classes that will certify you as a professional spray tan technician.

Learn From the Best

We provide a one-on-one training experience unmatched in the sunless tanning industry. These classes are designed for the mobile spray tanner or the individual spray tanner working in a salon or day spa.

Classes are held at our exclusive SoBe Tan by Fabiola location in South Beach, Florida. Coming to us is especially beneficial because it lets you see exactly how we have everything set up. You'll get step-by-step instruction on how to start spray tanning like a pro, including advanced techniques that only a handful of tanning specialists in the world know. You'll also receive an extensive review of the best (and most affordable) equipment to get started.

We'll share our business secrets and know-how to help you get started in the spray tanning business, revealing the sales and marketing keys to launching and running your very own profitable business.

The Specifics

Each three-hour class (10 a.m.–1 p.m. or 1 p.m.–4 p.m.) hosts up to two students and is held on weekdays at our SoBe Tan by Fabiola salon in South Beach. Classes cover all the material on spray tanning, include hands-on practice on real bodies, and share every technique you need to make this a profitable business.

The course costs $1,250 and includes a 16 oz bottle of our new clean tanning solution from SoBe Tan Sunless; we'll guide you toward the solution that best fits your needs. The course does not include spray tanning equipment, which starts at around $350 — but for a complete turnkey setup, you can bundle the course with our MaxiMist Evolution TNT spray tanning system for a total of $1,570.
