One full week before, stop all chemical exfoliants, retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and Vitamin C serums on body skin. These speed up cell turnover and lift a tan unevenly. Switch to a plain organic moisturizer for the week leading up.
Schedule any waxing for 72 hours before you tan, never after. Because the Clear Mousse and Tanning Water carry no color guide, there is nothing to streak and nothing to rinse off, so you can apply two to three days out and let the color develop into clean, even skin tone.
Apply the Clear Mousse in the evening to clean, dry skin and let it develop overnight. Because it is clear, there is no bronzer on your sheets and nothing sitting on the surface of your skin. Rinse the next morning with warm water only, no soap. The developed tan stays, and there is no guide color to wash away.
Light moisturizer with The Oil only. Do not touch your tan otherwise. No exfoliating, no scrubbing, no body lotion that contains alcohol or AHAs. Your color is locking in, so let it lock.
Because you used a clear, developed tan and not a cosmetic bronzer, there is no surface color to transfer onto a white dress. Still, skip body lotion on the day, and dust a talc-free powder on the areas that touch the dress (under the bra, the waistband, anywhere with friction). For the face, set your makeup with translucent powder.
